Three Day Diet Plans

A three day diet plan is usually pretty simple to follow -- after all, it's just three days you have to worry about.

There are an awful lot of 3 day diets, though.  Some are relatively healthy, others are way out there.  And some fall in between.

I'm going to concentrate of the three day diet plans that are on the reasonably healthy side.  True, none are plans that you'd want to stay on for more than 3 days at a time.  But they are great for dropping some pounds fast.

Keep in mind, when you go on a three day diet, you aren't really losing much fat -- you are losing water weight.  However, if losing that extra water loss lets you fit into that date night outfit, so be it.

Just remember that as soon as you start eating like you normally would, that water weight can come back if you aren't careful.  Ease back into regular food, especially salt or salty items.  Check labels!

Three day diets are great for kick-starting a longer-term weight loss program.  It gives you a little lift (not to mention motivation) when you see weight gone after just 3 days!

These diets are about 1,200 calories a day -- enough to lose weight quickly without sabotaging your metabolism.  (Check out 1200 calorie a day diet plans for why you don't want to go under 1,200 calories.)
