Here it is -- the 3 apple a day diet menu, condensed for three days. On this page you will see typical days...but you'll also see how you can switch foods if you like.
I mentioned before that this diet does allow for some picking and choosing. If you aren't comfortable with that at all, stick to the main plan for the apple diet plan menu.
What You Can Drink on the 3 Apple a Day Diet
Drink plenty of water on this diet, at least 8 glasses a day. You may have a very limited amount of coffee or diet sodas, a little more green tea. Herbal teas are also permitted anytime.
Try not to drink anything other than water, if at all possible. You can have some artificial sweeter, but only about half what you would normally use.
You may use any spices you wish on your foods, but you cannot use salt or spice mixes containing salt.
As always, the use of a vitamin or mineral supplement is recommended with any diet.
Presenting the Apple Diet Plan Menu
First I'll present each day of the apple diet menu program, then I will list your options for each day.
Note: all apples on this 3 day diet must be eaten with the skin on. While you may cut up the apples into slices or chunks, you must leave the skin on, for its valuable nutrients and fiber.
Day 1
Breakfast: 1 apple + 3/4 cup lowfat cottage cheese
Snack: Celery + 1 tablespoon peanut butter
Lunch: 1 apple + 3 ounce can of tuna fish, drained + raw or steamed veggies, all you want
